Wolfenstein, Raven Squad and Shadow Complex Arrive This Week

The game that many of us have been waiting patiently for, Wolfenstein, will finally hit retail outlets this week. Although many have grown tired of games inspired by World War Two, it seems that there is still a place for a sci-fi Nazi slaying fest in today’s market. Hopefully the game ends up being worth the wait when it launches tomorrow for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Also available this week is Raven Squad: Operation Hidden Dagger (PC, Xbox 360), a hybrid of first person shooting and real time strategizing. The slick graphics and shooting elements seem appealing, however RTS games have never been up my alley and I’m not sure how well the two gameplay styles will blend. It’s a safe assumption that most will be more intrigued by, and occupied with Wolfenstein, at least for this week.

In addition to Wolfenstein and Raven Squad, for those who may be in the mood for some classic side-scrolling action, for 1200 Microsoft Points or $15, you can grab Shadow Complex via Xbox Live Arcade this week as well.

Although the past couple of weeks have been a bit dry, things seems to be picking up at this point.
