We all like to save a buck or two, and since gaming tends to be a fairly expensive hobby, it’s good to take advantage of opportunities for being thrifty when they’re presented.

With that in mind, some of you may be interested to learn that Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 can be snared for only $4.99 via Steam until June 15. That’s 66% off.

In case you’re unfamiliar with this game, it’s a tactical, multiplayer FPS game set during World War II. It was developed by Tripwire Interactive and was originally released back in 2006.

Additionally, after you purchase the game, you can grab Darkest Hour, a free Red Orchestra Mod. You’ll be able to choose from 11 new maps and have 20 additional weapons at your disposal (plus a plethora of other new features) while you partake in an assortment of famous World War II battles as American, Canadian, or British troops.

Assuming you’re not entirely fatigued of World War II games yet and you’re looking for some cheap entertainment for the weekend, Red Orchestra and Darkest Hour should do the trick.
