If you’re the type of gamer that closely follows the sales figures of video games, you might be interested to learn that Sony’s exclusive FPS hit, Killzone 2 has officially sold over one million copies worldwide.

Considering the game was released in February, you could suggest that perhaps it’s taken Killzone 2 a bit longer to reach this milestone than other games, or question if these figures result in much profit when weighing in development and marketing costs, but that’s just sour grapes in my opinion. Selling one million units of anything is impressive and this demonstrates the growing fan base of the Killzone franchise. Sony is decidedly (and rightfully) pleased with the numbers.
Speaking of the Killzone 2 fan base, they’re likely excited about the upcoming DLC pack, Steel and Titanium, which will be available by month end.
Anyway, I digress with this, but I am tired as hell and looking forward to enjoying a weekend of gaming – hopefully I’ll finally get a chance to scope out Wanted: Weapons of Fate. The damn game is never in when I try to rent it. I hope you manage to fit in a decent amount of gaming this weekend as well.
