Tomorrow in North America, that is. If you happen to reside in another sector of the globe, you’ll have to wait a few more days before you’ll be able to get your hands on this prequel to Techland’s Western-themed FPS, Call of Juarez, for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood will place you in the cowboy boots of the two McCall brothers, and each has varying skills that will affect your gameplay approach. Ray, the eldest sibling, is more aggressive and favors getting up close and personal, while Thomas utilizes a stealthier approach, relying on weapons such as throwing knives to dispose of enemies silently, and long-range rifles to pick off foes safely from a distance. The contradicting styles of each character should result in decent variety between missions and help keep things fresh.

Trailers that have been released thus far for the game demonstrate impressive visuals, which appear to be a noticeable upgrade from the well-received preceding title, courtesy of Techland’s Chrome Engine 4. This Civil War era, Spaghetti Western inspired title shows good potential to fill the FPS void as we await the impending and highly anticipated release of Wolfenstein this August. Assuming the campaign offers a solid experience and gamers take to the robust multiplayer options, Ubisoft and Techland’s quest to cash in on Juarez’s gold may come to fruition.
